Simmons & Co. approaches the design process not unlike an architect's approach to the design of a building project. It must be a holistic view of the space. In the case of a kitchen there is so much more to take into account than the boxes to hold dishes.
The process is a blend of engineering, materials knowledge, aesthetics and an understanding of the historical context. Finally there is integration with almost every trade in the building process.
Nothing should be overlooked both aesthetically and functionally. We may be asked to select all the parts of the whole, or to build a team consisting of interior designer, architect, homeowner, or builder. Either way, we present the design choices onto the working drawings. This document speaks to all the subs, and in particular our installation team. The set of plans that we create is the guide to fabricating and assembling the puzzle that is your project.
Take a look at plan #1 or plan #2 to get a feel of the extent with which we approach your project.
